NKCA Knives

The very first NKCA club knife was issued in 1975. It is a Kissing Crane Anglo-Saxon whittler pattern, with the large blade folding between the two smaller blades. This knife has genuine stag handles, measures 4 1/2 inches closed, and the right front bolster is serialized. The shield is the old style bow-tie design with “NKC & DA”, which stands for National Knife Collectors and Dealers Association. This was later changed to the NKCA prior to 1980. The large blade is etched “1 of 1200”, the front tang reads “NKC & DA”, and the rear tang reads “Solingen Germany” with the logo of two cranes kissing.
